We source all our products directly from trusted producers and artisans in Japan and overseas (with only a few exceptions).
Some of our products have been developed or improved in collaboration with these producers and artisans.
As of 2023, we carry more than 600 products made by trusted producers and artisans across Japan.
Many of the products handled by Kawashimaya are made using traditional methods with great care.
Due to the challenges of mass production, many of these items are rarely found on the shelves of major supermarkets or department stores and are available only at Kawashimaya.
We would be delighted if the appeal of such products resonated with everyone.
