Our company was founded with a strong desire to “help those in need.” During visits to Islamic countries, we strongly resonated with the obligation Muslims feel to assist the poor. We were also inspired by the teachings of Islamic law, which emphasize maintaining cleanliness and only providing others with what is suitable for one’s own consumption. In Japan, the Muslim population is small, and halal cosmetics are almost nonexistent. Therefore, we launched Mitchan Cosme to serve as a bridge between Muslims and Japan, with the goal of developing 100% Japanese-made cosmetics that are halal certified. When the skin or extremities become dry, the surface can crack and become painful, which is not healthy. Our company representative, who has personally experienced the pain of cracked lips due to dryness, decided that our first product would be a lip balm. Although we have just started, we aspire to create a business together with those who are economically disadvantaged in the future, helping to permanently improve people’s living standards.
