Chlorella is produced and manufactured at our own facility, the Kyushu Chikugo Plant, located in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Our products are delivered nationwide, primarily through pharmacies and drugstore channels as health foods, while also being utilized in a wide range of fields, including agriculture and fisheries. Since our founding, we have focused on fundamental research on chlorella, with over 650 research findings published to date. At the Kyushu Chikugo Plant, we have obtained GMP certification for health supplements (from the Japan Health and Nutrition Food Association) and have pursued the 4H initiatives: High Quality, High Added Value, High Data Reliability, and High Credibility. We continue to make relentless efforts in stable supply, quality control, and evidence development. In 2023, we further enhanced our commitment to food safety by obtaining FSSC 22000 certification, an international standard for food safety management systems that incorporates HACCP. As we approach our 60th anniversary in June 2024, we remain dedicated to realizing our corporate philosophy: “Health and Happiness for Humanity.”
