Specially cultivated Uonuma Koshihikari rice (brown rice congee)
The Uonuma Koshihikari rice used is specially cultivated with organic fertilizers made from rapeseed cake, crab shells, and fish waste, broken down by microorganisms. The use of these organic fertilizers reduces chemical fertilizer use by 50% and pesticide use by 50%. The rice is cooked with pure underground water from Tsunan. For microwaving, transfer to a heat-resistant container, cover with a lid, and heat at 500W for 2.5 minutes. For hot water, do not open the pouch and heat for 5 minutes. With just hot water (even not pure water), it can be enjoyed anywhere.
It has a unique toasted aroma and sweetness, with a satisfying chewiness in each grain.
